We're not the only ones that love taking the Hilux on its travels. Jack Allum, son of Garry our Centre Principal at Toyota Blackburn, loves taking the Hilux on exciting adventures all over Europe! Alongside his dad, his mum Liz and his gorgeous dog Bluebelle, Jack has been on six trips this year... all in the Toyota Hilux! See, we told you he was a fan! Check out what he's been up to...
January: Jack and the family visited Loch Earn and the Highlands in Scotland for a chilly but exciting long weekend. They camped in Onich right next to Loch Leven.
April: Jack is a huge fan of camping because he can get up to loads of mischief in the countryside. He takes his bike and a walkie talkie so his dad can call him back for tea! In April, Jack and his family visited Hereford and camped right next to the River Wye.
May: The Allums took the Hilux across the channel to France and had a fantastic time camping in the grounds of le Chateau de Gandspette in Northern France.
June: Jack and his family couldn't stay away from Europe and took the Toyota Hilux a little bit further to Ypres in Belgium. They had a fantastic time visiting the Cathedral and the Menin Gate memorial, even watching the Last Post ceremony to pay their respects to the fallen soldiers.
July: The Hilux went on its travels to Cornwall and stayed in Veryan, on the Roseland Peninsular near St. Mawes. They travelled on the King Harry ferry to visit Falmouth and got a lot of attention from other drivers!
August: Jack's latest trip with his family was to Dorset where they stayed in their caravan with Bluebelle the dog. They are avid members of the caravan club and love to use their campsites because they can be quite fussy!
We're so impressed with Jack's adventures! What do you think? Have you taken your Toyota on any adventures recently... we'd love to hear about them!
